VENUE CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER

We are changing the venue to Studio Square which is the other beer garden in Astoria. It has an indoor and outdoor section. If the weather is okay we will be outdoors otherwise indoors.

Studio Square is located on

35-33 36th St
Long Island City, New York

Take the N or W to 36th Ave and walk on 36th Ave towards 36th St. On 36th St turn left and on that block you will find Studio Square.

The Beer Garden is pretty big so write down my number and call me if you can't find us there:

This is a great opportunity for the newbies in the group to meet and chat with the core group of the New York Backpackers and to get to know other outdoorsy people.

Drop by anytime between 730pm and 11pm.

if it is raining...near trains a great idea. I'd prefer not to do Williamsburg as it is tough to get to.

Been there and I recommended that place. I like it except a bit nosier and not as open feeling as it is surrounded by taller buildings.
They do have a huge indoor section for those rainy days.

Never been but here that I heard Studio Square is really cool: studiosquarenyc.com. Looks like its pretty roomy. it is in LIC near the Museum of Moving Image, near N/W and R/V trains.

Weather, doesn't look good, so i'm looking for a change venue. Suggestions? I was thinking of the Radegast Hall which is indoor beer garden in Williamsburg on the Bedford stop. What do you guys think?
