Brooklyn 4 miles run (or walk or crawl) drinking beer every mile or so

We will run about 4 miles. We will meet at Atlantic Center at noon. We will then proceed to run for about 1 mile to Bierkraft and drink some beer and do this 3 more times in 3 other bars.

You are welcome to walk it or crawl it if you are too drunk.

This is the best excuse for drinking beer! Since you are burning all those calories you have replenish them with liquid food. I am still trying to figure out the route. I have a rough idea but I want to sketch it a little bit better. I should have a good outline by next week.We will meet inside the LIRR station on Atlantic Ave. You can take the B,D, N, R, Q, 2, 3, 4, 5 trains to Atlantic and just go up to the LIRR platform. We will meet in the common area not the platforms.

My number if you can't find us is [masked].

A few of us will be going after to the Brooklyn Museum for first Saturday. If anyone is interested in going but is concerned about being sweaty and dirty and you don't live nearby, bring a change of clothes and a towel. I live in Brooklyn and you are more than welcome to use my shower.

Here is the route:

1) Atlantic Center to Bierkraft (191 Fifth Ave)

Run up Flatbush, make a right on Fifth Ave (.6 miles)

2) Bierkraft to Double Windsor (210 Prospect Park West)

Run on Fifth Ave to 16th St and then up 16th St to Prospect Park West (1.5 miles)

3) Double Windsor to Shenanigans Pub (802 Caton Ave)

Run on Prospect Park Southwest cross the traffic circle and Prospect Southwest turns into Coney Island Ave. Run on Coney Island Avenue until you reach Caton Ave. Make a right on Caton Ave. (1.2 miles)

4) Shenanigans Pub to Sycamore (1118 Cortelyou Rd)

Run east on Caton Ave toward Coney Island Ave. Make a right on Coney Island Ave. Run a block or two depending on which side of the street you are on and make a left on Albermarle Rd. Run two block on Albermarle Rd and then make a right on Westminster Rd. Run on Westminster until you reach Cortelyou Rd. Sycamore is our final destination.

The Sycamore lets people bring food from the outside. There are a few really good choices around such as Cinco de Mayo (Mexican), Mimi's Hummus (Israeli) and The Farm On Adderley. B

I will bring my freshly squeezed veggie juice if you'd prefer that over beer ;)

No special attire. Just bring yourself.

I'm all about love but spambot love is just strange. Linda the spambot has been removed given that I doubted a spambot could run and drink beer.
