    13d/12n trek in Peru

    greetings!

I'm a peru/Inca enthusiast. I'd like to arrange a 13 day, 12 nite hiking trip that will ultimately end at Machu Picchu. The price per person is $1150, but i've negotiated with a reputable and recommended tour ... Read morecompany who agreed to drop their prices in HALF to $610 if i can organize 10 people. finding 10 people isn't all that easy, especially when it involves such a long and strenuous journey over mountain peaks and down through the jungle. and yes, mosquitos.

Just know by no stretch is this trip already set, but it CAN happen, and where else to find like-minded people than right here? I hope this is an idea that not only resonates, but really gains traction and becomes a reality! The only thing i stand go gain is the same price as everyone else! :)

Anyone interested in learning white water kayaking? I'd love to do it and thought I'd start here before doing my own research.

The courses range from easier (yellow) to expert (Double black diamond). Relative to each persons ability, the courses are very manageable but become more physically challenging as you progress to more difficult courses. If you have not been up in the air before you may be unsettled at first about being 10 feet above the ground on a yellow course or 20 feet above the ground at points on a green course. Vey quickly you will begin to have fun with the challenges and the height above the ground will not be your main focus. Jimmy Chin started as a climber, but along the way he grew into an award winning, highly-published adventure photographer. In 2009 he returned to his climbing roots with an expedition that took him deep into the Indian Himalaya, to 22,000-foot Mount Meru. The climb was the ultimate test to Jimmy and his partners. Aiming for a summit atop thousands of feet of sheer granite, their eighteen-day ascent was racked by storm and cold. Forced to dig deep into their souls to find the will to continue, they survived on teamwork and trust, and came away with the hardest climb of their careers.

    Dayhike at Big Bear

    Hey guys,

I was wondering if Joe was planning to do a day hike up to Big Bear at some point during the month of April? I thought it was a routine trip, but I haven't seen anything upcoming.

    Thanks!
