Hiking the Grand Canyon.

Are you a 4-season backpacker? What's the coldest temperature you've slept outdoor in.
I am more of a summer hiker. The coldest is perhaps 45 degrees.
What's your favorite/least favorite 'critter' in the outdoors?
Favorite is Armadillos
