Introduction

I am an avid backpacker, mountaineer and explorer.

Tell us about one of your favorite outdoor adventures.

Everytime I go out the door. Good and bad always adds to the experience. But If had to choose, then Marmolejos in The Andes. Was my first solo adventure in a 6,000mtr peak. Changed my life!

Do you have current Wilderness First Aid training? If not, would you be interested in getting this certification?

Yes.

Are you a 4-season backpacker? What's the coldest temperature you've slept outdoor in.

Yes. During a storm in South America -40 with the windchill factor (I think it's the same in F when this low).

What's your favorite/least favorite 'critter' in the outdoors?

Least favorite? Mosquitoes and/or any kind of insect that hides in your boots, s bag or tent, and bites, buzzes and stings. Favorites? Hummm Would have to say any animal that I can see that I would be anxious of seeing in the wild.

What's your favorite snack food on the trail?

Dried fruits/ Chocolate chunk cookies/ Dark chocolate covered coffee beans, almonds fruits/Energy bars and Gel.
