Because I'm an avid adventurer and lover of the wild outdoors.

Tell us about one of your favorite outdoor adventures.

Among my favorite outdoor adventures is canyoneering with friends in the southwest desert, in southern Utah.

Do you have current Wilderness First Aid training? If not, would you be interested in getting this certification?

Yes, I do have wilderness first aid training through NOLS, and I'd be interested in getting certified again.

Are you a 4-season backpacker? What's the coldest temperature you've slept outdoor in.

Yes, I'm a 4-season backpacker. The coldest temperature I've ever slept in is, ... well it was in a snow-cave/hut that we built ourselves, in the rockies.

What's your favorite/least favorite 'critter' in the outdoors?

Favorite critter is the raccoon, because they saunter ever so slyly. Least favorite, ... mosquito, ... the buzzing at night is incessant.

What's your favorite snack food on the trail?

My own home-made combinations of trail-mix. Right now I'm stocked up with walnuts and dried blueberries. Mmm.
