Tell us about one of your favorite outdoor adventures.

biking up Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park in June 2006 (26 miles from Port Angeles, WA), took about 4 hours, then riding back down at a good clip. Also, hiking Lassen Volcanic Park in Jun 2000 when there was 4 foot snow pack on mtn.

Do you have current Wilderness First Aid training? If not, would you be interested in getting this certification?

No. I would like to get it.

Are you a 4-season backpacker? What's the coldest temperature you've slept outdoor in.

no, but I really want to get started. Thirty degrees.

What's your favorite/least favorite 'critter' in the outdoors?

Birds (hummingbirds, hawks, any avian creature); least fave: ticks. 2nd worst...tie: mosquitoes, gnats (The Gnatskills in Springtime becasue they get into my eyes).

What's your favorite snack food on the trail?

cling peaches in syrup, peanut butter and cheese crackers.
