Introduction

I just returned from a 3 day backpacking trip in Yosemite National Park and have fallen in love with backpacking. I can't wait to get out on the trails again.

Tell us about one of your favorite outdoor adventures.

I just returned from a 3 day backpacking trip in Yosemite National Park. We did about 20 miles ending with a 3500 foot decent on the trail beside Yosemite Falls.

Do you have current Wilderness First Aid training? If not, would you be interested in getting this certification?

I don't have it today. Would be very interested in getting it.

Are you a 4-season backpacker? What's the coldest temperature you've slept outdoor in.

I have not done tent camping in winter. I have done cabin camping in winter and I'm an avid skier, so I'd consider it. The coldest tent camping I've done is probably about 40 degrees.

What's your favorite/least favorite 'critter' in the outdoors?

Favorite: I don't have just one, but deer are near the top of the list Least Favorite: Snakes

What's your favorite snack food on the trail?

Home made trail mix.
