I love backpacking and just about all outdoor recreation.

Tell us about one of your favorite outdoor adventures.

Great 10-day rafting/backpacking trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon One-week backpacking trip in the Sierra's including climbing Mount Whitney. Volunteer for National Parks Service in Wyoming wilderness.

Do you have current Wilderness First Aid training? If not, would you be interested in getting this certification?

Yes, I have the certification.

Are you a 4-season backpacker? What's the coldest temperature you've slept outdoor in.

Yes, but I'm not absolutely crazy about the winter. Probably the coldest was in the 20s near Mount Washington.

What's your favorite/least favorite 'critter' in the outdoors?

Favorite - moose, Least favorite - bear

What's your favorite snack food on the trail?

Snack - pop tarts, Meal - Kraft macaroni and cheese

I'm sorry to hear that the group is dissolving. I still hadn't made it there from North Jersey, but am moving to your neighborhood soon and was looking forward to it. Thanks for what you have done. The spirit lives on. Ellen
