Introduction
I've been itching to get out and go hiking, and i just found you! Hoping to meet some new friends to go play in the woods with, make fire, star gaze, have contests to see who can pack the smallest pack..
Tell us about one of your favorite outdoor adventures.
Every adventure is my favorite, except for the cold, wet and rainy ones. Warm and rainy is nice. Cold and rainy? Not so nice.
Do you have current Wilderness First Aid training? If not, would you be interested in getting this certification?
Don't have it, would love to get it
Are you a 4-season backpacker? What's the coldest temperature you've slept outdoor in.
Snowy New Hampshire. Not sure of the temp., but we pitched our tent on a foot of snow. Surprisingly comfy.
What's your favorite/least favorite 'critter' in the outdoors?
Least favorites are scorpions/spiders and moths. The rest of the earth's creatures are fine. The whole Sasquatch/Yeti/Big Foot thing freaks me out, but i'm pretty sure those aren't real.
What's your favorite snack food on the trail?
Gorp, of course. And peanut butter, apple and jelly sandwiches. Or apple & cheese sandwiches.
